How to make Pot Roast
Easy Classic Pot Roast Recipe
Soak beef in a bowl of salt water. Scrub and rinse beef
Season beef with salt or celery salt, pepper, rosemary leaves, thyme, garlic powder and onion powder
Drizzle 2-3 tbs of worcestershire sauce over beef
Cover and sit in refrigerator overnight
The next day place a pot over medium heat
Add 3 tbs of oil to the pot
Coat beef with flour and fry beef on one side for 7 minutes or until dark brown then turn over and fry other side for 7 minutes
Cover beef with beef broth or water. Make sure beef is cover in broth or water
Cover pot with top and reduce heat to low
Allow beef to simmer on low heat for approximately 4 hrs
Chop up 1 large onion,1 bell pepper, 3 stalks of celery into small pieces.
Place a pot over medium heat and add 3 tbs of oil
Add vegetables along with 2 teaspoons of minced garlic
Stir fry for 10-12 minutes or until done
Peal skin off of 4 potatoes and dice them into medium shape squares
After 3 hours of cooking pot roast beef, add the chopped vegetables and potatoes to the pot
Also, add some baby carrots and a can of diced tomatoes to the pot
Add additional season if you need some
Allow beef to simmer for another hour until falling off the bone tender
