We got a new Crock Pot and our first recipe is slow cooked Brisket with BBQ sauce.
Recipe:
– 700g Brisket
For the Rub:
– 1 tbsp brown sugar
– 2 tsp paprika powder
– 1 tsp onion powder
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp cumin powder
– 3/4 tsp mustard powder
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Sauce:
– 1 garlic cloves , minced
– 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
– 3/4 cup ketchup
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 1 tsp EACH black pepper, onion powder, mustard powder
– 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste re: spiciness)
– 0.5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
