A moose roast seared in butter and Montreal Steak seasoning, with a maple syrup glaze, cooked low and slow in my crock pot.
Prep- night before, soak roast in 2 cups whole milk in a zip lock bag. This helps remove any gaminess from the meat.
1 moose roast
1 tb Montreal Steak Seasoning
1 tb butter
1 Cup Maple Syrup
1/2 Cup water
1 sliced onion
Sear the roast in butter and seasoning in hot pan on all sides.
Transfer to crock pot, add onions, pour maple syrup over it all, add the water to the bottom. Cover and cook on low.
