EASY Slow Cooker Pot Roast (Crock Pot)

-Salt and Pepper
-2 TBSP of Olive Oil
-2 to 3 lbs of Chuck Roast
-2 cups of beef broth
-2 TBSP of Worcestershire sauce
-3 cloves of garlic (minced)
-1 TSP of onion powder
-1 onion (chopped)
-1 cup of boy carrots (or regular carrots cut into pieces)
-2TBSP of butter
-3TBSP of flour
-Your favorite two side dishes (ex: Mashed potatoes, corn)

1) – Salt and pepper all sides of chuck roast
-Heat Olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
– Once heated, place chuck roast in olive oil and brown on both sides
-Set crock pot to high heat and place chuck roast inside
-Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, carrots, and onions
-Cook on high for 1.5 hours, then on low for additional 5 hours

2. -Remove chuck roast and vegetables from crock pot, set vegetables to the side and put chuck roast on a large cutting board
-Slightly shred chuck roast to pieces the size you desire, set aside
-Turn crock pot back to high heat, add butter and flour to crock pot liquids to create a gravy. Whisk until combined, cook for additional 10 minutes
-Add chuck roast, onions, and carrots back into gravy, serve with your favorite two sides
