Mississippi Pot Roast Recipe | Slow Cooker Pepperoncini Crock Pot Roast
Ingredients:
3 pounds beef chuck roast
1 packet (1 ounce) Ranch dressing mix
1 packet (1 ounce) Au Jus Gravy mix
4 cups beef broth
4 tablespoon butter, unsalted
8-10 whole pepperoncini peppers
3 tablespoon pepperoncini pepper juice (from the jar)
1 medium yellow onion, minced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
and LOTS OF LOVE❤️
Directions:
1. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat on a pan or skillet. Sear all sides of beef chuck roast.
2. After searing the beef, transfer it to slow cooker.
3. Sauté minced onion over medium heat until tender. Add minced garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
4. Add in beef broth, Ranch Dressing and Au Jus gravy. Mix together until well combined.
5. Add pepperoncini pepper juice and mix thoroughly.
6. Transfer the sauce to the slow cooker. Add pepperoncini peppers and butter.
7. Cook the beef on high for 5 hours until it is fork tender and shreds easily. Shred the beef with 2 forks. Taste and season as needed.
8. Serve immediately and ENJOY!
