In today’s video: I made the Fremont Seafood Boil from Aldi for dinner AGAIN but in a new way, so I wanted to share the process, ingredients and instructions with you. It was $9.99 for 35oz of frozen items which included Mussels, Corn on the cobb, raw shrimp, red potatoes, andouille sausages, and a cajun seasoning packet (that I threw away).
Hubby steamed 2 lb bag of Aquastar Wild Pink Patagonian shrimp and some frozen broccoli to go with it.
My Cooking Instructions & Recommendations👩🏽🍳
THROW THE INCLUDED SEASONING AWAY! It’s not good🤢🗑️
I added Old Bay seasoning, Seasoned Salt, Italian Season, sweet onion, lemon, 1/2 cup of water, 3 tablespoons of butter sliced thin, and a drizzle of olive oil.
✨Line a glass baking pan with aluminum foil.
Add the olive oil.
Separate your sausage, corn and potatoes from the seafood items so that you can group them together for baking.
Then, add your seasoning to both sides of your corn, shrimp and potatoes etc. Add the sliced lemon and sliced onions on top of your food & place your slices of butter in each section with each item. Bake the Fremont Seafood Boil for 40 minutes on 375 F (add 10 min if completely frozen). Cover it with aluminum foil to keep that steam in.
