2 cups broth from pot roast (or you could just use 2 cups store bought beef broth) Bring to a slow boil.

Add to beef broth:
2 – 3 TBS flour mixed with 3/4 cup cold water.
Whisk for 1 -2 minutes until it thickens.

Add salt and black pepper to taste. (1/8 to 1/4 tsp is usually enough depending on how salty your broth is to start).
